A New Semester Begins

When I was a child, I loved back to school shopping. New pencils that had never been sharpened, notebooks without a mark in them. Perhaps it was the excitement of learning new things, the uncertainty of a learning from a new teacher, maybe it was that "clean slate" feeling that a new school year brought. Whatever the reason, I loved to get ready for the school year. I still have that exitement when autumn comes around. Maybe that is why I became a teacher, to be able to continue to feel the thrill of the new year, every year.

We've just finished our first week back to school and I've met all of you; I am looking forward to getting to know, as well as teaching and learning from all of you. Let the excitement begin!
